Biography
I am a Lincoln scholar, writer, avid reader and social activist, wanting to make a difference. The daily motto I live by is: “aspiring to inspire.” I have been writing as a hobby since I was about six years old. My writing is at times emotionally raw, but always honest. There is beauty everywhere and I seek it out, with an open mind, heart, and pen. I enjoy writing and reading novels and poetry of all sorts, but my favorite genres are historical romance, free-verse poetry, and haiku.
Continually inspired by my mother who was a highly talented traditional artist, her enduring legacy encouraged me to return to college and finally earn a new degree in English. When not busy writing, I am eagerly plotting out new ideas for various online designs, websites, and other miscellaneous projects— having worked with many educators and clients in recent years who share similar visions. Please browse through my portfolio and share what inspires you and let me help you to create something beautiful and unique!

Testimonials
“
The editing you did on our Fortville Nazarene Church 90th Anniversary packet is absolutely beautiful! We love the orange tones that you incorporated, the flowers and the pretty page numbers and border along with the choice of font and placement of paragraphs – it is all just really nice! We know that you will do a marvelous job in this field. God bless you and your work!
From a poem of one stanza to a prose piece of several paragraphs, Jenene is inspired from the intensity of that little understood emotion called love to craft her work. Her sentences, written with powerful imagery among other literary features, are read with the heart as much as with the eyes. From one piece to the next, her sincere and intimate expressions in her memoirs will bring tears to the eyes while her tender romantic works will compel you to think again about love and passion, whether you believe in it or not.
